Can I Switch From Online To Desktop ?

Yes, you can switch from the online to the desktop platform.

You'll need to save your online data to your local PC in .tax2017 format. You can then open the .tax2017 file in any of the desktop products.

If you started a 2017 return online and want to switch:

1. login to your online account
2. select My Account | Tools
3. select Save Return To Computer

1. start a 2017 online return using 2016 login credentials
2. (this will transfer your data to 2017 format)
3. select My Account | Tools
4. select Save Return To Computer

To open the .tax2017 file:

1. run your desktop program
